Hauck & Aufhäuser Investment Banking is mainly focused on small and mid cap clients and transactions in the German speaking countries.
In April 2009 Hauck & Aufhäuser Privatbankiers, a private partnership active in private banking and asset management established 1796, and Cazenove AG, partnered to combine their investment banking activities. Cazenove AG opened its Frankfurt office in 2001 and has in the past 8 years build up a strong reputation for its high quality advisory services and strong capital market expertise. In 2005 Cazenove & Co, London, and JPMorgan combined to form JPMorganCazenove in the United Kingdom. In 2008 Cazenove AG underwent a management buy-out of the Frankfurt based team.
The team of 25 investment bankers is run by a senior management team with international investment banking experience at leading institutions in the industry. The client focus is oriented towards small and mid cap public companies, family owned private businesses, large corporates with mid market deals, the public sector, private equity investors as well as international institutional investors.

Mergers & Acquisitions: advisory in various situations, such as sell-side, buy-side incl. public offers, fairness opinions.
Debt advisory / Finance Management: financial management and restructuring, trustee arrangements, interest and foreign exchange hedging.
Equity Capital Markets: IPO/SPOs, capital increases, rights issues, block trades, share buy-backs, designated sponsoring.
Institutional Research / Sales Trading: institutional sell side research, sales and sales trading with a focus on small and mid cap stocks in the German speaking countries.
