As part of the on-going major restructuring of the European passenger transport sector, Veolia Transport (a €5.9 billion turnover group part of Veolia Environnement) and Transdev (a €2.3 billion turnover group jointly controlled by Caisse des Dépots et Consignation, RATP - Paris subway operator - and Equiter – Private Equity arm of Banca Intesa) are planning to merge in a 50/50 new company becoming one of the world leaders in its sector with a combined turnover of some €8 billion.
Wagram Corporate Finance, thanks to its intimate knowledge of the passenger transport industry, has been acting as financial advisor to Equiter in this transforming and landmark transaction.
