Mid-Capital partner Wagram Corporate Finance advised Unicopa in the disposal of its subsidiary Broceliande to Cooperl
Cooperl Arc Alantique Co-operative, the France based producer of pork meat, has acquired Broceliande, the France based producer of cooked meat products, Unicopa (Union Regionale De Cooperatives Agricole), the France based producer of agricultural products, poultry, cold meats, dairy products and animal feed, for an undisclosed consideration, estimated to be EUR 44m. The Memorandum of agreement was signed for the transaction in July 2009. Broceliande employs 1,500 employees and reported revenues of EUR 250m. The acquisition is consistent with Cooperl’s strategy of expanding its portfolio of pork products.
