On October 1, 2008, Bosch signed an agreement with BBC to purchase nearly 40 % of the shares in sia for CHF 515 per share. Furthermore, Bosch pre-announced its binding recommended public offer to all other shareholders of sia at CHF 435 per share in cash. This represents a premium of 13.0% over BBC’s offer of CHF 385. Bosch held 99.6% of the shares at the expiration date of the additional acceptance period.
